I was walking down Shenkin Street tonight and this sign caught my eye. I wasn’t sure if they meant to write it this way – because it’s always really cool to use English in marketing wherever possible – or if maybe they confused “she” and “her.”

Living in Israel is funny stuff. This is a blog about that. Go to the "about" page above for more info and the link to email us ideas for new postings!
The Zabaj team is a group of people who each live in and love Israel.
And you know that if the sign had read “hers” there would have been an errant apostrophe there: “Her’s.”
Not that this doesn’t happen in NYC…
My favorite was a store with a hot pink neon sign, titled: SEXY.
Nothing says cheesy, crappy quality, cheap, fraicha, slutty than a huge neon pink sign over your store reading SEXY.
