T-shirts I own

February 28, 2007

I am not embarrassed to say I own these two t-shirts, which I purchased in Israel. Of course, you can tell by the wrinkles how often I do (don’t) wear them:

Summer

Powerfull Summer (it’s supposed to be powerful)

Xray

Intimate Life: x-ray your emotions (no idea what that’s supposed to be)

…But Unfortunately Silver Lettering on Orange *IS* Possible

This was one of my holiday gifts circa 2005 for one of my best friends back in the US.

Ri-dic-u-lous.

For those that can’t make it out, it says (all caps in the formation of a pyramid, for some reason) “Too Much Love is Impossible.”

Shirt Seen (I swear) in Holon, c2004: “Obsessed With Cloth’s”

February 6, 2007

Most (all) of the clothes you see on the street on a given day in Israel seem to fall under one or more of the following categories:

  1. A shirt with a number on it
  2. A shirt with a hillariously irrelevant and/or misspelled English phrase

My personal favorite was the shirt that inspired the title of this post. Another, just to get the ball rolling, was seen by Jacob in his early days in Israel:

“X-Ray Your Emotions.”
