Gotta love our beloved Israeli, when asked about his views on rising fuel prices:
“I don’t care about the price – I always fill up only 50 [shekels]”
When informed by the interviewer that he will be getting less fuel if he continues paying the same total, our friend says:
“No, not really, as you can see, I drive a scooter”
The video itself is highly recommended! To view it, visit the site here and skip exactly two minutes into the video. To make sure you’re viewing the right video, it should be the one that says (in Hebrew): “Einav Galili laughs at the whole world.”
OMFG, I thought that was only a joke. I never thought anyone really thought so.
This line is in fact used often (you’ll see it as a talkback on any article that deals with fuel prices), and you’ll always find people calling whoever said it an idiot.
In most cases, it’s said sarcastically, though I’d imagine its origin is authentic.
Dunno about this guy, though. Might just be a smart ass caught on camera.
I’m finding it hard to understand if this is a light hearted blog ridiculing Israelis, or a malicious one…
That kind of silly comment about gas can be heard anywhere in the world, it is not what “the Israeli” says about it.
Well, its funny and happened in Israel, so its on the site. No deeper motivation than that…
